# Original Window Sticker

> The original factory window sticker (Monroney label) of a US car, by VIN: the automaker's own PDF, with the original MSRP and every factory option and its price. Free for a limited time, no sign-up. When an automaker doesn't have a car's sticker, the site says so in one line; it never makes a replica.

## Getting a car's window sticker

Send the person to https://originalwindowsticker.com/?vin={VIN} (or https://originalwindowsticker.com to type it in). The page looks the VIN up with the automaker and shows its sticker: the PDF, the original MSRP and each factory option with its price, plus listing text for a used-car ad. Lookups are free for a limited time.

A VIN is 17 characters (no I, O or Q). The first lookup of a VIN can take up to a minute.
